This product is one the best we found for young children, even kindergartners. It teaches introductory concepts, such as size, order and patterns, to help kids get ready to learn basic math.

Mighty Math Carnival Countdown is easy to use, after the first run through with mom or dad, kids should have no problem navigating through and using the program.

Mighty Math Carnival Countdown supports five different activity areas that relate math concepts such as sorting, equivalencies, logic, 2D geometry, addition and subtraction. This program is mostly focused towards mastering concepts rather than memorization.

This program is for K–2nd, therefore it is limited to introductory math concepts appropriate for very young students. It offers only pre–multiplication and division concepts and does not include word problems.

Educational Value:  

Mighty Math Carnival Countdown presents basic math subjects through animated characters and fun, interactive games. For example, a character named Armadillo Annie teaches geometry concepts such as symmetry and area, and kids can manipulate clowns to master addition and subtraction.

We found this program to be amusing enough to engage children for an extended period of time, and in turn, learn basic math concepts needed for school success, with little effort.
